I don’t paint scenes; I paint states of feeling. Each mark records an emotion moving through me, transforming the canvas into a raw expression of the moment. Since 2019, I have developed a self-taught language that blends cubism and raw expressionism, evolving from oil-based works into bold compositions where dense textures and spontaneous spray gestures collide. For me, a Sannikov painting is never finished in meaning: it continues to change with the person who encounters it, becoming a mirror for their own emotions and seasons.
